Numerical analysis of the influence of wall roughness on the turbulent boundary layer separation

چکیده
Abstract Passive control of turbulent boundary layer (TBL) separation in a channel with adverse pressure gradient (APG) condition towards the outlet is investigated using Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) methods and Large Eddy simulations (LES) help commercial ANSYS software. Isothermal incompressible flow near-wall area flat plate as well various configurations wavy wall studied. It shown that amplitude period waviness significantly influence near region point separation.
